Hatspanian found his cell occupied
Sargis Hatspanian, a French citizen of Armenian descent, has returned to Vardashen penitentiary institution based on the conclusion of doctors. He had been transferred to the Hospital for Convicts where the prisoner underwent a thorough examination.
On arriving at the penitentiary institution, Hatspanian, requested the prison head to send him back to the cell where he had being serving his sentence, RA MoJ press service reports.
"Since the cell was occupied by other inmates, Hatspanin was taken to another cell. But the convict refuses to stay there and wants to be transferred to the prison clinic."
The Ministry also refutes Hatspanian's allegations on not sending the prisoner's documents to the Hospital for Convicts.
"We sent all documents required for medical examination," reads a MoJ release.
