RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs tenders resignation
RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan has submitted a resignation.
Mnatsakanyan's decision was allegedly not unexpected, as he had earlier expressed an intention to resign.
Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan became deputy under the proportional list of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) though he had never been affiliated with the party. Seven months ago, Mnatsakanyan was appointed Minister of Labor and Social Affairs by the BHK mandate.
Among the candidates for the post are Samvel Balasanyan, former OYK MP, Frunze Musheghyan, former head of the Pension Fund, and Hakob Manukyan, Head of State Labor Inspectorate.
