You recently participated in the celebrations dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Victory of our general state against the Fascists. I wish to express my gratitude to you for being with us on that day. That shows the level of closeness between our countries and the wish of further development of strategic relations," he said.

In his turn, Serzh Sargsyan attached importance to the working meetings and expressed gratitude for the invitation, which served as an opportunity to meet with representatives of the Armenian communities of South Federal region of Russia.

During the meeting, the sides reached an agreement on Russian President Dmitri Medvedev's visit to Armenia in August.
