"NKR citizens reiterated their resoluteness to live freely"
Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian commented on the results of parliamentary elections held in Nagorno Karabakh on May 23.
With these elections the citizens of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic reiterated their resoluteness to live in a free and independent country," said Minister Nalbandian.
The Armenian FM stated that the recognition of the inalienable right of the Karabakh people to determine their own future is at the core of the proposals presented by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs for the settlement of this conflict.
"The international community should be more than interested in elected authorities of Nagorno Karabakh, especially considering the fact that it is envisaged by the mandate of holding the Minsk Conference.
Edward Nalbandian underlined that the elections testify to the commitment of NKR authorities and the people of Artsakh to democratic values and the rule of law.
