Greek police are taking extraordinary measures to ensure the security of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Greece. The authorities have limited traffic in the capital's main streets, banned parking near the hotel where the Turkish PM will be staying, reports Turkish Zaman.

Note that local Greeks and Armenians are planning to organize a protest against Erdogan to be held outside the Greek parliament and Turkish Embassy in Greece.
Zaman mentions that security measures have been strengthened also in Turkey's embassy in Athens and in the vicinity of Turkish parliament. In the afternoon Greek and Turkish flags were removed from the parliament building in trucks.

Turkish MP is expected to discuss bilateral relations with Greek authorities. He will also deliver a speech at a Greek-Turkish economic conference.
