"Heritage" didn't organize the march
Support A1+!"Heritage" party did not participate in the march and protest organized by YSU students, head of "Heritage" party board Armen Martirosyan told "A1+" as he touched upon RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan's announcement.
Yesterday the Minister of Education and Science disseminated an announcement according to which the student march was organized by members of "Heritage" party.
Let us remind that students of YSU, especially students of the Physics Faculty, are holding weekly actions with the demand that the RA Ministry of Education and Science restore the previous number of spots for Master's and PhD degrees by right to postponement. According to students, the spots were reduced twice by the government's new resolution.
Armen Martirosyan also stressed that "Heritage" has a principle according to which any party member is free to join civil initiatives and may express views on any issue.
"We have a small discrepancy within the party connected to the government's resolution. It is clear to us that there are certain issues here," he added.
"Heritage" party disseminated a statement later today in which it is stated: "We consider it ridiculous that the Ministry of Education and Science is indirectly accusing "Heritage" of speculating students' issues, when it is the one that has been controlling middle schools and institutions of higher learning with partisanship for years."
