Plaintiff's question left unaddressed
The first instance court of Kentron-Nork Marash districts today continued hearings into the case of successors of March 1 victims.
The relatives are challenging the inactivity of the RA Prosecutor General's Office and the Special Investigation Service.
The court today heard the complaints filed by the successors of victims Tigran Khachatryan, Gor Kloyan and Armen Farmanyan who died of a "Cheryomukha-7" special device during the clashes between riot police and demonstrators on March 1, 2008.
"Was the victims' right to life violated during the clashes?" Artak Zeinalyan, representative of the plaintiff asked the court today.
The question was left unanswered. Judge Gayane Karakhanyan announced that she could not force the sides to answer the question.
At the next court sitting, on May 21, Artak Zeinalyan will file a motion for the judge's resignation as he thinks the court displays unbiased attitude to the relatives of victims.
