Ali Shami invited to Armenia
RA Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharyan met with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Ali Shami. The officials emphasized the importance of mutual top level visits and discussed prospects of political, economic, cultural and tourist cooperation.
The meeting focused on regional issues and recent developments in Armenia-Turkey relations. Ali Shami expressed confidence that all disputable issues will be settled through peaceful talks and good-will.
The Armenian Ambassador conveyed RA Foreign Minister's invitation to visit Armenia this year.
On the same day RA Ambassador met with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and conveyed him the invitation of RA NA Speaker to Armenia. Mr. Kocharyan also passed Armenia's gratitude to the Lebanese Parliament Speaker for the warmth welcome to his Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamyan
