Sarkozy hails Armenia’s position
French President Nicolas Sarkozy welcomes Armenian President's decision to suspend the ratification process of Armenian-Turkish protocols.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy hailed his Armenian counterpart's commitment to continue the dialogue on normalization of relations with Turkey in defiance of difficulties, the parties encountered in the ratification of accords, signed in Zurich on October 10, 2009.
"France calls on Armenia and Turkey to continue the dialogue and double efforts to implement the Protocols, which will contribute to establishment of peace and stability throughout the region," reads President sarkozy's message.
