"Turkey will not ratify the Armenian-Turkish Protocols unless a road map on the regulation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is drawn and the countries register progress in the Karabakh conflict," Suat Kınıklıoğlu, deputy chairman of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party said during the 73rd NATO PA Rose Roth seminar in Yerevan on Friday.

"The USA is already working in this direction but I cannot predict the results of their endeavour. They say they face difficulties," added the Turkish delegate.

Suat Kınıklıoğlu criticizes Armenia for regularly setting "timeframes."

"First Armenia said Turkey must ratify the protocols by the turn of 2009, then by April, 2010. I declare now that the documents will not be ratified by Turkish Parliament by April," announced Suat Kınıklıoğlu and added, "The adoption of Resolution 252 by the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs further tangled the complicated situation. If things continue this way, the Armenian-Turkish Protocols will simply die away."
