"It is natural that there may be more separate meetings of the Armenian and Azeri presidents and in other formats as long as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not been peacefully settled. There is nothing unusual about this. What would be unusual if there were no new meetings," announced today Serzh Sargsyan's press speaker Samvel Farmanyan.

Farmanyan touched upon the releases according to which the Armenian, Russian and Azeri presidents will have a trilateral meeting in late January for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.

According to Farmanyan, on Monday, January 18 Serzh Sargsyan and First Lady Rita Sargsyan will leave for Moscow on a working visit at the invitation of Russian President Dmitri Medvedev. "The heads of states will continue the high-profile political dialogue and will discuss issues relating to the cooperation between the two strategic allies in different spheres and the region. During the Moscow visit, the sides might also discuss the issue of holding a trilateral meeting of the Armenian, Russian and Azeri presidents."

Farmanyan denied the rumors that the revised version of the Madrid Principles for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement has already been presented to the official Yerevan.
