According to preliminary results, member of the National Unity party Ara Simonyan won majority of votes during a January 10 parliamentary by-election at Constituency 10.

Ara Simonyan is leading with 7 622 votes, Chairwoman of the Electoral District Silva Markosyan told A1+.

Simonyan's contenders, editor-in-chief of Haykakan Zhamanak daily Nikol Pashinyan and Leader of the Marxist party David Hakobyan, gained 5023 and 299 votes respectively.

The number of inaccuracies is eight. 438 ballot papers were found invalid.
13566 eligible voters, (24.29%) participated in the vote.
