19, 39 percent voter turnout recorded
As of 5:00, January 10, 10827 individuals or 19, 39 % of 55851 eligible voters participated in the parliamentary by-election at Constituency 10, Tatevik Ohanyan, Spokeswoman for the Central Election Commission, told A1+.
The CEC has been reported on the incident at polling station 10/19. CEC Secretary Abram Bakhchagulyan and CEC member Zoya Matevosyan are presently at the precinct.
"We watch the election and record all violations. The CEC will take corresponding steps and give an assessment at the end of the elections," added the CEC spokeswoman.
Three candidates are up for the election - Nikol Pashinyan, editor-in-chief of Haykakan Zhamanak daily, Ara Simonyan, member of the National Unity Party and David Hakobyan, leader of the Marxist Party.
