NA elected NCTR members
The four members of the RA National Commission on Television and Radio (NCTR) became known minutes ago after the National Assembly summed up the voting results.
Of the seven candidates the Armenian parliamentarians voted for Koryun Arakelyan, member of the National Concord Party (AMK), Aram Melkonyan, former deputy head of RA Tax Service and assistant to ex-President Robert Kocahryan, Armen Mkrtchyan, former member of the National Revival Party and Hayk Kotanyan, former head of the NA personnel.
101 MPs participated in the vote. One ballot paper was recognized invalid.
Koryun Arakelyan has got 78 votes, Gohar Arshakyan 26, Gevorg Harutyunyan 29, Aram Melkonyan 75, Armen Mkrtchyan 91, Karen Vardanyan 4, Hayk Kotanyan 84.
The newly-elected NCTR members swore in to be impartial and independent.
To remind: seven candidates were nominated for the four members of the National Commission on Television and Radio. They are Aram Melkonyan, Gevorg Harutyunyan, Koryun Arakelyan, Hayk Kotanyan, Armen Mkrtchyan, Karen Vardanyan and Gohar Arshakyan.
