Most voters abstained from poll
Majoritarian parliamentary elections were held at Constituencies 8 and 25 on December 6.
According to our preliminary data, Republican Koryun Nahapetyan got 8 382 votes and Prosperous Armenia Party member Mkhitar Harutyunyan 13 439 votes.
The Central Election Commission will reveal the final results by December 11.
One candidate was nominated at each constituency. Voter turnout in constituency 8 was 8 706 (14, 12 %) and 14 146-ը (24, 79%) at constituency 25. Over 193 ballot papers were recognized invalid at constituency 8 and 262 at constituency 25, the CEC reports.
Some 132 people voted against Koryun Nahapetyan and 384 against Mkhitar Harutyunyan
Note that 60, 593 eligible voters were registered at constituency 8 and 57,074 at constituency 25.
