"The authorities killed our sons", "Those concealing the assassins are assassins themselves", "Nikol, we're with you"-these were the signs held by the relatives of the victims of the events of March 1 as they gathered near the Shengavit district court during editor-in-chief of "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily Nikol Pashinyan's trial. The relatives stayed silent with photos of their sons as long as the police had not approached them.

Deputy Head of the Patrol Service Regiment, Valeri Osipyan, said that the sign reading "The authorities killed our sons" was anti-government and ordered officers to take that sign from the relatives, leading to a commotion.

"I wrote this sign with my own two hands and I wrote the truth because the police killed my son by the order of Robert Kocharyan," Sargis Kloyan, father of one of the victims of March 1 Gor Kloyan, told the police. He took the sign from the Armenian National Congress youth representatives so that the police wouldn't harm the youth.

"On March 1 my son and I had gone to the Myasnikyan statue to liberate our country. Nikol Pashinyan has nothing to do with the murders of our sons. Samvel Nikoyan said that our children were killed by the policemen from the 10/33 military unit with an illegal device. Who opened the doors of the military unit? Who armed them? Who gave the command to shoot? Why don't they reveal that? The commander-in-chief and the godfather of all this is Robert Kocharyan," Sargis Kloyan told "A1+".

Alla Hovhannisyan, mother of victim Tigran Khachatryan, was offended by the statement made by the chairman of the NA ad-hoc committee leading an investigation into the events of March 1, Samvel Nikoyan. "Nikoyan told us that we don't understand anything. He said that we didn't understand the explanations and we have chosen him as a target. Who else could we choose? For me, the criminal and the person who conceals the crime are the same thing. I am here today because the criminals and those concealing the crime have not been punished. My son did not go to the Myasnikyan statue by the call of Nikol Pashinyan. He went because his people were being beaten and he went to stand up for his voice."

Jemma Vardumyan, mother of victim David Petrosyan, said that she was frustrated after hearing Serzh Sargsyan's words about tolerance in Hungary yesterday.

"Serzh Sargsyan was making a call for tolerance on the occasion of the murder of the Armenian official in Hungary. He didn't talk about us parents after killing our innocent children."

Mother of victim Tigran Abgaryan, who was barely standing on her feet today, told "A1+": "I will go everywhere I can to reveal my son's murder."

The neighbors of victims Grigor Grigoryan and Hovhannes Hovhannisyan had also come to the court to demand justice with photos of the victims.
