Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosian had a meeting with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Tina Kaidanow and U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the recent developments in Armenia-Turkey ties, Karabakh conflict settlement, state of democracy in Armenia, political prisoners and struggle against corruption.

Present at the meeting were representatives of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) Levon Zurabian and Avetis Avagian.
