HAK calls for resignation
The opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) has issued a statement today on the signed Armenian-Turkish Protocols.
"The signing of the Armenian-Turkish Protocols testifies to the diplomatic incompetence of Armenia's acting regime. With the signing of the documents, Armenian authorities put the historic fact of the Armenian Genocide into question.
Turkey has already gained whatever it longed for. The country continues to link the border opening with the Karabakh conflict resolution, in particular with the surrender of the liberated territories.
The Protocols are resulted by the policy conducted by Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan over the past ten years. The genocide issue became a subject of political debates after being involved in the foreign political agenda. Today, Sargsyan's regime is going to make inadmissible concessions in the Karabakh issue.
