Concessions for genocide and Nagorno-Karabakh are unacceptable for current and former members of the Lebanese parliament, member of the Social-Democrat Hnchakyan Party Yeghia Jerejyan and Sepuh Galpakyan.

Touching upon the issue of the Turkish-Armenian protocols, Yerevan-based Lebanese Armenians said that they are against establishment of relations with Turkey if that establishment must be at the price of concessions for genocide and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Nevertheless, they await Serzh Sargsyan's upcoming visit to Lebanon in order to hear the answers to their questions.

"Generally speaking, the Diaspora has been more aware of issues of national concern than the Armenians in Armenia because the presence of the Diaspora is a result of genocide," said deputy of the Lebanese parliament Yeghia Jerejyan.

Although Yeghia Jerejyan affirmed that not all Diaspora Armenians have the same opinions, she believes that Serzh Sargsyan's trip is a courageous step because he is going to face many hardships during his meetings with the Diaspora Armenians.

Sepuh Galpakyan added that Sargsyan's upcoming visit comes late and he should have made the trip before the release of the protocols.
