As usual, people got to Yerevan to participate in the opposition rally with great difficulties.

"We knew that the police will restrict our right to move. On the other hand, taxi drivers seized the opportunity to earn more money. We can no longer endure this state of matters," Ashtarak citizen Hasmik Badalian, 65, said to A1+ today.

Residents of Ashtarak Town knew that the routes to the capital will be closed today. The local authorities had informed them beforehand.

"Once I paid 1000 drams to get to the capital but today the taxi driver took 3000 drams. I am a pensioner and all my coins are counted. Do I deserve such ill-treatment?" wondered Mrs. Badalian.

Hrazdan citizen Vahagn told the police he was coming to Yerevan to work. "In fact, I have come to HAK' rally as I think the opposition will help us build our future."

"The police know all opposition activists and if they see us in a car or taxi on the days of rallies they stop the vehicles and send us back. I had to walk 15 kilometers today to be able to attend the rally," says Sergey, a citizen of Eghegnadzor Town.
