Minibus lines and bus routes from Armenian marzes to Yerevan aren't working today. As usual drivers have been instructed not to transport people to Yerevan where the Armenian National Congress (HAK) is scheduled to hold a rally at 8:00 p.m.
Minibuses are forbidden to take people from Abovian, Byureghavan and Arzni to the capital. Passengers have to take a taxi to get to Yerevan.
A1+'s worker living in Byureghavan Town also took a taxi to get to work.
According to our sources, policemen controlling the route to Yerevan stopped the students' bus of Byureghavan Town near Arzni village and sent it back.
Police cars can be seen on Yerevan-Dzoraghbyur roadway too.
Hrazdan City has been chained by policemen since 9.00 o'clock, resident of Vanatur village, Arshavir Bozinian told A1+.
In Mr. Bozinian's words, some villagers went to the capital yesterday as "they are well aware of the authorities' line of actions."
Reminder: the Armenian National Congress holds a rally near the Matenadaran at 6:00 September 18. The City Hall has sanctioned the opposition rally.
