Special surveillance at NA
RA NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan presented the requests of deputies Khachatur Sukiasyan and Raffi Hovannisian to withdraw from their mandates. According to the NA Statute withdrawal from mandate enters into force if the deputies do not take back their requests within 15 days after issuing them.
Today the 6th session of the National Assembly of the forth convocation was convened. 105 deputies participated in the session; however, part of the left the session hall before the interval.
In contrast to previous sessions, accredited journalists were subjected to special surveillance. Despite the fact that they passed through special check points and had their bags checked security guards re-checked their bags before entering the session hall.
In his opening speech, RA NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan did not present his condolences to his colleague Rafik Petrosyan on the untimely death of his son. Deputy of faction "Heritage" Larissa Alaverdyan offered her condolences to her absent colleague and congratulated the Armenian judo youth team of their victory.
NA deputy Hakob Hakobyan was also present today. Some of his colleagues, even Galust Sahakyan approached him and hugged him.
