According to sociologist Aharon Adibekyan, the RA authorities' ratings have gone up after the release of the two protocols by Armenia and Turkey.

"It is evident that the authorities' ratings have not gone down. This is a rather serious step for people who purchase cheap Turkish products. The people who welcome the protocols are those who understand that Armenia is in a state of crisis," the sociologist told "A1+" today.

Adibekyan believes that the RA authorities' ratings are high not only because of the consumers paying for cheap Turkish products, but at the international level.

"Our authorities' ratings are so high that the country is receiving loans worth 2 billion dollars. Citizens of Armenia consider that a serious step and there has not been any serious error to hurt our authorities' reputation."

According to Adibekyan, the opposition must unite if it wants to come to power. "Whoever comes to power in our country takes all levers into its own hands. It turns out that one heavyweight is fighting against the lightweights. If the opposition wants to come to power and become a serious player in the political field, it must unite. It can't do anything separately, but unity doesn't mean to add up the zeroes."
