The Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutiun doesn't raise the issue of power handover as it finds it unreal in Armenia.

"Radical opposition has always called for a power change but its realization is a different matter. One should be guided by serious calculations.

We don't agree with the authorities in many issues but if we raise extreme problems we shall appear in a ridiculous situation. Everyone will realize in six months that you are a weak person and cannot compete with the authorities," ARF-Dashnaktsutiun MP Artyusha Shahbazyan said to A+.

Mr. Shahbazyan says it is still too early to consider Heritage's proposal on starting a partnership with the Congress and ARF and considering issues which can be agreed upon.

"Partnership is not an end in itself. Heritage is hurrying a bit. First of all, ARF must define our place as an opposition. Today Levon Ter-Petrosyan heads the opposition field and others follow the lead. We must still consider all problems bringing us together or pushing away on this path."

Artyusha Shahbazyan who considers the ARF-Dashnaktsutiun as a constructive opposition anticipates new developments in the Karabakh conflict settlement, Armenian-Turkish relations and economic sphere in fall.

The ARF will voice its concern over the Karabakh issue during its September 2 rally.

During a conversation to A1+, Mr. Shahbazyan said that the last meeting of Presidents Serzh Sargsyan-Ilham Aliyev did not console the ARF-Dashnaktsutiun.
