Rally on NKR independence day
The ARF is organizing a rally at the Charles Aznavour Square in front of "Moscow" Cinema on September 2 at 6:30 p.m. Today the ARF Supreme Body spread a declaration in which it is stated:
"September 2 is the day of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic's declaration of independence. By winning the war that was coerced by Azerbaijan and expressing the collective will of all Armenians, Artsakh declared and defended its independence. Today, during the new negotiations we must:
-Stand up for our nation's victory and enforce respect for the fact of Artsakh's self-determination
-Reject any enforced concession
-Demand the restoration of the full format of negotiations with the full participation of Artsakh.
Taking into account that the serious dangers of the current process of normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations are still present, before the football match we demand once again
-termination of negotiations serving Turkey's interests
-prohibit Turkey from fulfilling its commitments to the international community by obligating Armenia to make concessions
-resignation of the Foreign Minister responsible for Armenia's failures in diplomacy.
Fellow Armenians,
Let us show our willingness and determination for the independence of the NKR and insurance of security and let us prevent the dangerous normalization of Turkish-Armenian ties."
