Herbert Gevorgyan is not scared
Hovhannes Kiramizyan, 23, and Aghvan Hakobyan, 24, continue their hunger strike near the Armenian National Movement's headquarters.
The youth are sure that there will be many others who will want to join their hunger strike. Let us remind that they have declared a hunger strike in defense of their friend Tigran Arakelyan who was arrested on July 5 after being charged with assault against a state representative.
Police officers visit the youth every day and ask them their name and last name to find out whether there are more strikers. As for 14-year old Herbert Gevorgyan who was passing out flyers with Tigran Arakelyan on July 1 and was charged with Article 258 of the RA Criminal Code, he assured that he is not afraid of anything and is waiting for the day when he will be with Tigran in the same court and receive his indictment.
He also said that he was the first to catch the eye of police officers and received the first beating that day because he was the one holding the microphone.
He received blows to his face, nose and even saw one of the police officers with a gun in his hand. After all that, 14-year old Herbert is amazed at how the police can charge him and his friend Sahak Muradyan with beating a police officer. According to him, the falsehood of the case was clear to him after he had a confrontation with the police officer who had allegedly beat him.
