All international organizations have misconceptions about Nagorno-Karabakh," said "Heritage" faction MP Larisa Alaverdyan today at the "Armat" club.

Talking about the effects of the Azeri-Armenian diplomacy, Alaverdyan mentioned that there will be no positive step until Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic don't put the concept for state development in circulation.

Larisa Alaverdyan said that she wasn't surprised by yesterday's meetings and the statements that followed. She claims that whether Armenia likes it or not, it is turning into a part of Azerbaijan's diplomatic game and besides that, she is in favor of having the National Assembly take the matter into its own hands.

What was the Azeri President talking about when he said that Karabakh will have a certain status during his interview to the Russian "Vesti" television? In response to that, Larisa Alaverdyan said that according to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, there cannot be any territorial state in its structure.

"I don't think that Aliev will go against his own Constitution and declare any autonomous region. What I don't understand is why Azerbaijan should give Karabakh anything. The problem is that Azerbaijan doesn't have that right. It has already lost what it had in the Soviet Union after the war that it waged."

One of the journalists asked Alaverdyan if she was against Azerbaijan when her fellow partisan asked the Azeri delegates for support at the PACE.

According to her, the Turk and Azeri deputies fell into Postanjyan's trap, but the fact that they didn't know what they were getting themselves into is another story. The first thing that concerns her is that the Armenian side views that as an act against Armenia.

"The problem is that we can't seem to work things out in the country and that is why we ask for help abroad. Terry Davis has said that if he were Armenian, he would ask who shot the victims. I have been asking who shot them since March 1, but no reply."
