Greek FM meets with Levon Ter-Petrossian

On July 3 Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrossian met an OSCE delegation headed by Chairperson-in-Office, Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis. The delegation also featured OSCE Yerevan Office Head, Ambassador Sergey Kapinos, the OSCE special representative to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Armenia.

Discussed were issues related to the inquiry into the March 1-2, the 10 victims and the activity of the Fact-Finding Group.

Reference was made to the restoration of fundamental rights, political prisoners, freedom of speech and rallies, the prospects of Armenian-Turkish relations and Karabakh conflict settlement.

The Armenian National Congress expressed opinion on all issues.

The meeting was attended by HAK's Coordinator Levon Zurabian and senior representative Avetis Avagian, reports HAK's press service.
