Nikol Pashinian sentenced to detention
The Kentron and Nork-Marash District Court at the head of Judge Edik Avetisian today ruled that Haykakan Zhamanak's Chief Editor Nikol Pashinian would be sentenced to two months of pre-trial detention.
The decision was comprised of ten pages nine of which were devoted to the motions.
The Judge didn't ground for the court decision.
Pashinian's advocates are going to dispute the decision at the Appellate Court. They will also appeal to the European Court of Human Rights if they find it necessary.
Note that Nikol Pashinian didn't stand up before the Court.
