Another four political prisoners set free
Another four political prisoners were released from Armenian jails today. Former deputy head of Vardashen Penitentiary Gagik Hovhannisyan was freed from Yerevan-Kentron Penitentiary. He had been sentenced to 2.5 years of imprisonment for usurping official position.
Political prisoners Mkrtich and Armenak Abrahamyans, residents of Janfidayi village, were released from Sevan Penitentiary and HZhK member Samvel Karapetian from Erebuny Penitentiary.
They were met by their relatives, adherents and co-citizens.
