How many holes must be filled to redeem one's fault? How many trees must be planted to redeem one's fault?  "There were ten victims".

Tens of people today staged a protest near the Parliament building with the posters.

"Terrorists, free the political prisoners," shouted the protesters.

In the meanwhile, the National Assembly was considering the proposal of amnesty authored by Serzh Sargsyan.

Some time later the protesters stood with their backs to the National Assembly as a sign of disrespect.

They said the action was spontaneous as they had learnt about the NA special sitting and decided to come and demand release for the political prisoners.

"We don't need their amnesty. Let them pardon themselves for innumerous committed crimes. We only demand that the authorities release our friends. I just wonder who dares to pardon my friends. The insolent authorities need a mirror to look at them," said protester Vardges Gaspar.

Detainee Alexander Arzumanyan's spouse Melissa Brown noted that the political prisoners didn't need general pardon: all they needed was justification and acquittal. "We don't need Serzh Sargsyan's present," she added.

Note that the groups of policemen are deployed on the site to keep public order. The protesters will stay near the building till the end of the NA sitting.
