The court immediately dismissed NA Deputy Sasun Mikaelyan's trial today after the ten minute delay.

Mikaelyan did not show up to court today due to health conditions. Judge Hrair Sargsyan was supposed to release the verdict today, but he postponed it until June 22 at 11 a.m. without giving an explanation.

Commander of the "Sasun" regiment Sasun Mikaelyan is charged with organizing mass disturbances on March 1 and keeping illegal weapons. The prosecutor has demanded a sentencing of up to 9 years.

The road leading to the court was surrounded by police cars on both sides and cars were not allowed to pass, even journalists. One of the police officers was sincere enough to say that it was Sasun Mikaelyan's trial and had given the command to close the road. Some tens of people were holding a demonstration in the yard near the court. They were expressing their anger regarding the amnesty and the verdict for Sasun Mikaelyan.

"We will wait another ten days for them to release Sasun Mikaelyan and the remaining political prisoners; otherwise, we will close the Hrazdan "ring" and not let Serzh Sargsyan and Robert Kocharyan pass through," they said.
