Three district heads changed
Yerevan's Kentron administrative region will hence be headed by the ex deputy district head Gagik Gianjumyan. The decision was made by City Mayor Gagik Beglarian who has appointed heads of Yerevan's administrative regions under Article 52 of the RoA Law on "Local Self-Government Bodies."
The heads of three administrative regions - Kentron, Avan and Arabkir - have been changed.
Manvel Javadyan will replace ex district head of Avan district Taron Margaryan who was appointed Deputy Mayor of Yerevan City.
Hamlet Margaryan was appointed district head of Arabkir district replacing Albert Yeritsyan.
The other district heads will continue holding posts. Below is the list of district heads:
Ruben Hovsepyan - Ajapnyak district
Arthur Gevorgyan - Davitashen district
Armen Harutyunyan - Erebuni district
David Ohanyan - Malatia-Sebastia district
David Petrosyan - Nor Nork district
Varazdat Mkrtchyan - Nork-Marash district
Mher Hovhannisyan - Nubarashen district
Sargis Hovhannisyan - Shengavit district
Arayik Kotanjyan - Kanaker-Zeitun district
Note that tomorrow the Elders' Council convenes a special sitting.
