Will March 1 be forgotten?
Leader of the New Times Party (NZhK) Aram Karapetyan thinks highly of an amnesty. But he says it shouldn't be viewed in a political context.
"From the legal point of view amnesty can be viewed in a political context but when they say they are going to grant an amnesty upon the request of the public, they already politicize the issue, which is too bad," says the NZhK Leader.
Aram Karapetyan thinks that by dissolving the fact-finding group and declaring an amnesty the authorities want to turn over the page of the March 1 events.
