“Country of Law” handed out gifts?

Politics

The "Country of Law" party doesn't think that its votes were falsified during the mayor elections and doesn't accept that they haven't passed the 7% threshold.

"We had proxies in all electoral commissions and none of our votes could have been stolen. However, there could have been technical violations during the recount."

What surprises "Country of Law" representative Hovhannes Margaryan, however, is the low voter turnout. Mr. Margaryan told "A1+" that the party witnessed mass violations. According to Hovhannes Margaryan, he sees his electorate among the passive voters.

You didn't disribute money during the campaign, but you did hand out watches. Isn't that a bribe? In response to that he said:

"It is ridiculous that you are also smiling. "Country of Law" has always received the vote of confidence. We give small gifts like pens to our party members every now and then."

What's interesting is that "Country of Law" has appealed for a recount.

Prosperous Armenia is still silent

The Prosperous Armenia party is not rushing to assess the mayor elections in Yerevan. Member of the NA Prosperous Armenia faction Aram Safaryan told "A1+" that they are preparing for a session with all heads of pre-election headquarters, recap the results and facts and then express their final thoughts.

Aram Safaryan also talked about another event that he witnessed at the 5/15 polling station in the Davtashen district.

"I can only talk about that event because that is where I have seen the violation."

As a former journalist, what do you have to say about the journalists who were assaulted during the elections? In response, Aram Safaryan said:

"I condemn this and hope that the prosecutor's office will investigate and punish the culprits."
