"I've been a gladiator, but I don't want to be a Samurai," coalition representative of the Fact-Finding Group leading the investigation into the events of March 1-2 Robert Avagyan said during a press conference today. He told journalists that the main reason for his resignation was the incompatibility and impossibility of working with ANC representative Andranik Kocharyan.

"I am handing you Andranik Kocharyan for 24 hours and Satik Seyranyan for 168 hours. If you can stand them, I will apologize and will get back to work," said Avagyan, calling Andranik Kocharyan "hysterical".

Robert Avagyan said that they were working well with the opposition until the rumors about the circumstances of the death of Hamlet Tadevosyan began. Avagyan didn't sign the concluding remarks for the circumstances of Tadevosyan's death because he doesn't agree that the grenade blew up in the official's hand.

Robert Avagyan doesn't agree with the evaluations of RA Ombudsman Harutyunyan according to which the coalition representatives are not working in a constructive manner.

"We are passive in order for the opposition to get active," said Avagyan, adding that the coalition has done everything it could, referring to the Special Investigative Service, the police and other structures.

Avagyan believes that Andranik Kocharyan's attitude hurt the opposition even more than if they were to work normally and reveal the facts behind the murders of the other victims.

Robert Avagyan noted that the Ombudsman is not authorized to change his representative because there is a point that states that the representatives are irreplaceable. This means that Robert Avagyan's irreplaceable seat in the Fact-Finding Group will stay vacant.
