Intellectuals share their opinions
A great number of intellectuals participate at today's rally of the Armenian National Congress (HAK).
"Levon Ter-Petrosyan was able to kill the "slave" among our people and this is his greatest achievement," Armenian noted actor Erwand Manarian said in his addressing speech.
We caught sight of opera singer Araks Davtyan among the ralliers. She had left Moscow for Yerevan to participate in the opposition's rally.
Mrs. Davtyan is going to vote for the Congress and "she won't be ashamed of Armenia's leadership if the HAK's candidate is elected."
Araks Davtyan extended maestro Ohan Duryan's warm greetings and appeal to vote for the Congress. Ohan Duryan was unable to participate in the rally because of his ill health.
The leader of the People's Party of Armenia (HZhK), Stepan Demirtchyan, leader of the Hanrapetutyun Party, Aram Sargsyan and HAK Coordinator, Levon Zurabyan, have made speeches. Levon Ter-Petrosyan is making a speech at present.
