Audits terminated
"Upon the directive of the President of the Republic we have taken an unprecedented decision with the view of promoting the development of small and medium-sized businesses and creating a favorable atmosphere for tax administration. The Government has decided to prohibit any type of audit in small and medium-sized enterprises in 2009-2010" Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan announced at the National Assembly.
"We are confident that the suspension of inspections in 22 enterprises under the conditions of the crisis will create a more favorable atmosphere for the development of small and medium-sized businesses," added the Armenian Premier.
