Look for policemen under shelters
To meet Armenian policemen one simply needed to go to the Matenadaran at about 6 pm today.
They were not hiding from the sun: they were simply waiting for an order to leave their shelters.
The reason for the police anxiety was today's rally of the opposition Armenian National Congress at 6.30 near the Matenadaran.
Three top level policemen including Robert Melkonyan and Valery Osipyan were seen near the Matenadaran.
Asked why fewer policemen were seen near the Matenadaran, Mr. Melikyan and Osipyan said: "What is the use of bringing so many policemen here. The more ralliers gather, the more policemen will be brought to the site. "
