"They seek power to distribute garages"
The ARF-Dashnaktsutyun thinks there is not variance between the Republican (HHK) and Prosperous Armenia (BHK) parties.
"I don't agree to the expression "they devour each other" as I see no conflict regarding ideological, political, economic or foreign policy issues. In this respect, I see no contradiction", ARF Bureau member Vahan Hovhannisian said in reply to A1+.
Mr. Hovhannisian thinks the reason for the recent clashes between the HHK and BHK is the middle management.
"Either some local medium-size "bosses" think scuffles are the only way to serve their superiors, or a distribution of some spheres of economic importance is underway. I see no reasons for a political confrontation.
Everybody realises that the more aldermen they have, the more garages will be given. Some forces stand for the mayor simply to give garages, lands, etc."
Asked why the Dashnaktsutyun doesn't pursue the same aim, Mr. Hovhannisian said: "Тhey realize that the Dashnaktsutyun doesn't pursue such an aim and the Party is not competitive in this regard."
