HASK considers Tigran Karapetian their main contender
The leader of the Armenian Labour Socialist Party (HASK), Movses Shahverdian considers the leader of the People's Party, Tigran Karapetian his main rival during the coming election.
He says voters should only rely on the two parties. Other forces should be estimated by their deeds as they have already been in power.
The HASK is running in the mayoral election with the slogan "Trust & Believe!"
The Party's recent survey shows that the 7-percent threshold will be overcome by the Armenian National Congress (HAK), Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), Prosperous Party of Armenia (BHK) and the Labour Socialist Party of Armenia (HASK).
According to Movses Shahverdian, the Country of Law (OYK) and ARF-Dashnaktsutyun will fail to pass the threshold.
The HASK leader says all elections are politicized without any exceptions.
