Good friends beat each other?
"The Republican and "Prosperous Armenia" party members are good friends in the Ajapnyak district," NA Deputy Arman Sahakyan said today.
According to residents of the 3rd village, Arman Sahakyan was one of those who were beaten up during the dispute that sparked yesterday between Republican and "Prosperous Armenia" party members.
"I wasn't there. This is yet another provocation. What happened was strictly based on personal grounds and has nothing to do with the parties. Neighbors can get into a debate anywhere," said Arman Sahakyan.
Was yesterday's dispute on personal grounds? Mr. Sahakyan said the following:
"The incident that took place yesterday was on personal grounds."
Sahakyan said that he didn't know who the dispute was between and said that the Republicans will no longer make attempts to beat up "Prosperous Armenia" party members.
Even if the incident in the 3rd village waas not based on personal grounds, just the fact that the dispute is tied to brother of RA Prosecutor General, acting head of the Ajapnyak district Ruben Hovsepyan means that this was more than personal.
Republican Karen Avagyan touched upon the event in the 3rd village connected with the Prosecutor General's brother.
"This could have happened regardless of the campaign and I condemn this no matter who it was between."
"Prosperous Armenia" party members don't feel guilty for what happened.
"Our party has never violated the rules of the game. We have never initiated an attack and never will," "Prosperous Armenia" faction member Naira Zohrabyan told "A1+".
According to NA independent Deputy Victor Dallakyan, there really are issues between the Republican and "Prosperous Armenia" parties.
"I think that there are problems, but people must compete against each other and not get rid of each other. There is an attempt to help young local princes get to the top in Armenia and some minor officials are doing a huge service for the authorities. The Prosecutor General has a lot on his mind and now he has to think about his brother."
