Who behaves aggressively?

The Republican Party of Armenia today had a meeting with the voters of Yerevan's Ajapnyak commune. The first three candidates of the Party's voting list arrived at the commune escorted by the district head of Avan, Taron Margaryan.

During the campaign, Taron Margaryan was informed about yesterday's incident between the HAK and HHK representatives in Avan commune. He commented on the latest events.

Taron Margaryan says the HAK behaves rather aggressively. HAK members come up to young people and enter shops binding them their booklets. After getting a negative answer, they incite incidents.

The district head of Avan commune condemns such incidents which hinder the routine of the campaign. He says all political forces have offices in Avan and as the district head of Avan commune he will do his best to exclude violence, to reveal all incidents and bring the perpetrators to trial.

In the meantime, Taron Margaryan was talking to Levon Eghiazaryan, head of HAK's pre-election office in Avan. Taron Margaryan urged Mr. Eghiazaryan to continue the campaign regardless of all obstacles.

Later, Mr. Eghiazaryan informed us that three of the beaten women had been taken to hospital.
