Turkish-Armenian relations were also on the agenda
RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met today with Chief of Russian Foreign Intelligence Mikhail Fradkov.
The issues discussed related to further development of bilateral cooperation. Tigran Sargsyan and Mikhail Fradkov shared the view that such meetings and interchange of views on issues of bilateral interest in line with the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership. This will help keep the focus on issues relating to poltiical and economic developments and security issues with the purpose to combine efforts to confront the current global challenges, find solutions to the created situations and lay down courses for further cooperation.
During the meeting Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan also presented the RA Government's views on Armenia's economy, the negative effects of the global financial/economic crisis and the measures being taken to overcome those effects, Armenia's relations with neighboring countries such as Iran and Turkey and issues concerning regional security and cooperation.
