Campaign to launch tomorrow
The city council elections will kick off tomorrow. The alliance and six political parties have until May 29 to show citizens of Yerevan that they are better than the rest.
For example, the Armenian Labor Socialist Party, which is taking part in the elections with slogans such as "Believe and Trust", is not planning anything special on May 2 and is getting ready to broadcast on radio and on television.
Outdoor meetings and press conferences are scheduled to take place throughout the whole campaign.
"We will distribute our booklets to citizens and we will have advertisements as well," ALS press speaker told "A1+".
Leader of the People's Party Tigran Karapetyan will participate in the elections with three slogans, including "Love must guide us all" and "Guarantees for everybody".
The People's Party will present its platform on May 2 and booklets will be distributed.
"There will be outdoor meetings and a large meeting with the district. We will also go on air. We will be as active as possible during the campaign so we can get in touch with the people," Tigran Karapetyan's press speaker Ruzanna Stepanyan told "A1+".
The Dashnaktsutyun will start its election campaign with a tree-planting ceremony to be held in the Nubarashen district.
