Observers are coming
Three representatives of the Congress observatory mission of the Council of Europe will pay a visit to Yerevan on May 4-5.
As the press service of the Congress reports, Vice-president of the Congress Pabio Pelegrini, Mishel Kueghan and Nigel Mermagen will meet with candidates running for city council, representatives of government, the opposition and the Central Electoral Commission, the public sector and the media.
Let us remind that the Congress observatory mission will observe the May 31 city council elections in the beginning of May and at the end of the month.
The observatory mission to arrive at the end of the month will be larger than usual taking into account the political significance of the Yerevan city council elections.
The Congress observatory mission of the Council of Europe will also include representatives of the Regions Committee of the European Union.
