There were many people gathered at the "Armenia Marriott" hotel today where the "Prosperous Armenia" party had organized an event with the participation of 700 students.

Leader of the party Gagik Tsarukyan was also at the event and the audience welcomed him with applause. It was announced that more than 700 students of the 17 state and private universities of Armenia have expressed willingness to join the political party.

The "fresh" members of the political party swore to accept the propositions of the party and contribute to the implementation and meet the demands set by the party. Gagik Tsarukyan has been helping students for many years with different issues.

Following the main ceremony was a reception during which journalists tried to find out from Gagik Tsarukyan his opinion regarding the upcoming May 31 elections for Yerevan city council. But the party leader remarked that he did not want to talk about it now and that he did not come to the event to discuss that.

We found out from representatives of the "Prosperous Armenia" youth wing that students from different Armenian universities have joined the party and the state university students are the most active. In general, the number of youth members of the party reaches the 10,000 mark.
