"The Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, will be visiting Istanbul on April 6-7," the Spokesman for the Armenian MFA, Tigran Balayan said to A1+.

Remind that today morning Azeri websites wrote that Minister Nalbandyan hasn't left for Istanbul.

Tigran Balayan says the Armenian FM will surely attend the 2nd "Alliance of Civilsations" forum. The MFA spokesman gave no more details.

It is still unknown whether reference will be made to the opening of the Armenian-Turkish frontier will be discussed in Istanbul.

Note that recently A1+ conducted an Internet poll on the frontier opening. Over 54.8 % of our respondents voted for the reopening without any preconditions, 27.9 % agreed provided that the Armenian Genocide is recognised and 11.7 % voted against the opening.

Some 1827 participated in the online poll.
