Levon Ter-Petrosyan and the bandit regime
"Our competitor is the bandit regime and the lists don't interest us," said today press speaker for the Armenian National Congress Arman Musinyan. He noted that the opposition is running in the elections with an alliance of 14 political parties, while the authorities are taking part with a couple of candidates. According to Musinyan, this arrangement of powers changes the political situation and benefits the opposition.
Arman Musinyan said that the Armenian National Congress regrets that it wasn't able to come to terms with "Heritage" on the issue of lists and the fact that the party refused to participate in the elections.
"But we understand their decision," said Musinyan and did not exclude the possibility of working with "Heritage" during the campaign or elections.
Is Levon Ter-Petrosyan ready to be mayor of Yerevan? In response, Arman Musinyan said that the first president of the country is ready for anything just to restore the constitutional order and free the country from the bandit regime. He will work as mayor as long as it takes to solve the issues.
"Fair elections will mean the victory of the Armenian state," said Musinyan.
Musinyan said that they will determine the strategies, slogan, head of the pre-election headquarters and other technical issues in the coming weeks. But one thing is for sure-there will be rallies, marches, mass events and Levon Ter-Petrosyan will participate in them.
In addition, Arman Musinyan informed that the verdict reached by the court on the "Case of Seven" was misinterpreted yesterday on the website. According to the release, there were such circumstances that had not come up during the process.
"This is clearly false information and the failed plot of the authorities," said Arman Musinyan.
As for the statements made by Marxist David Hakobyan, who is included in the list of the Armenian National Congress, Musinyan informed that all enlisted parties have signed under the list as a sign of consent and did not make further comments.
