Levon Ter-Petrosyan will head HAK list
On March 15, 2009, the Political Council and Central Office of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) convened a joint sitting with the participation of Levon Ter-Petrosyan. Discussed were issues related to the upcoming elections to the Yerevan Mayor. During the sitting it was decided that the HAK will run for the city mayor. Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan will lead the HAK list.
Under another decision, the member parties of the Armenian National Congress instructed the Central Office to discuss the proposal of the Heritage Party on а joint participation in the election. The Central Office was also instructed to start official negotiations in this relation.
